The "C" Word

That's right…Christmas! It's sneaking up on us. Before you know it you'll be in the thick of holiday shopping, pushing your way through the mall trying to get that last gift and suddenly remember that you forgot to send out the holiday cards, again!

Not to worry, we've got you covered. Our photo cards are the perfect solution for that personal touch this holiday season. Printed on premuim photo paper these stylish cards will stand out from the pack and make everyone smile.

They're easy too. All you have to do is email us a picture. From there we can custom design you the perfect card or you can use any of the designs we currently have.

Looking for the perfect gift for Grandma or the teacher? How about custom stationary! Or better yet, what Grandma wouldn't love getting a special thank you note from your little one on their very own letterhead.

Check out our website for tons of samples and remember, we would love to create something custom just for you.

Have a great holiday season,
The girls at A Little Birdie Told Me

The Birds and The Bees

Well, its been a while since I have been able to get on here. Modern technology has reared its ugly head and had its way with my computer. Now that I have a shiny new machine I am once again excited to show you all what we have been up to and what we are working on.

First up; our Welcome Wagon show was a lot of fun. Thank you to all who came by our booth and had a chat.  We wish you all the best of luck with your new arrivals. A special congratulations to Daphne Wang who was the winner
of our raffle. We look forward to helping you create the perfect announcements for your little one!

Stay tuned this week for some holiday card designs that will make you want to get those cards out nice and early!

How logo can you go?

Wow! Its been busy here at the Birds Nest. Between the three of us girls we have two full time jobs, a new baby, a toddler and a newly engaged Nicole! Somehow we still find time in the evenings to chat, plan and design. That should say something about our love for our work and our passion for A Little Birdie Told Me.

Over the past few weeks we have finished some logo designs and we thought we would share them with you. Enjoy!

Vanessa from Time Capsule Photography, chose this contemporary logo with rich reds and brown tones. Check out her website www.timecapsulephotography.com to view her portfolio. Best of luck with the new venture Vanessa.

April wanted a logo that was fun, contemporary and reflected the range of women that would be utilizing the tools on her site barriemommies.ca

Logo created for a Sommelier.

Matt from Yard Control already had an established business providing lawn care services. He just need to refresh and revamp his look.

Ready, Set, Go

Nicole, Danielle, Jenna

So, we spent a good portion of the weekend getting ready for our very first show. Boy did we have a blast! Who knew "working" on a Sunday afternoon would be so much fun?

A quick trip the the local dollar store was all we needed to put the finishing touches on the booth and bring our ideas from paper to reality.

Here's a sneak peak of us proudly showing off our practice booth. Be sure to stay tuned for some more images and an update next week.

The Team

P.S. For all of you expectant moms out there be sure to join us October 15th at the Glenway Country Club in Newmarket. This is where we will be at the Welcome Wagon baby shower. Hope to see you all there!

Many Thanks!

We wouldn’t be here without the help of some very talented people! And we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all their wisdom and advice.

Matt Rintoul, our web designer extraordinaire! Matt did a fabulous job of setting up our website, in record time! Matt was very informative and patient with our many questions. He’s a great resource, professional and friendly, we’re very lucky to have him on our team! Thanks Matt!!

April Roper, entrepreneur and community resource guru (not to mention friend!), we would like to thank you for your support. April is a great person for community guidance and direction. She has our ads posted on her very informative BarrieMommies.ca website, check her out!

Lisa Mancini, cake designer to the stars! Lisa is a personal friend and guided us in the beginning stages of this wonderful journey. She answered many questions and let us pick her brain for hours on end. We highly recommend her cake services too, Cakeoholics.ca, check her out!

Thanks again, we could not have done it without you!

It's finally arrived!

Well, after a few glitchs and hiccups along the way, our website is up and running, yeah! Thanks to all of our friends and family who have helped us along the way. We all appreciate your support.

Check out www.alittlebirdietoldme.ca to browse through some of our work. Of course, as three passionate designers we are always creating something so we have started this blog to accompany our website and allow us to update and showcase our latest designs and ideas.

For all you expectant moms out there be sure to check out the Welcome Wagon's website. They are hosting a huge baby shower on October 15th and we will be there with samples and freebies!

Enjoy the blog and check back often. We hope you allow us to help you announce your special occasion.
